By running your air condition how much power do you typically lose ? I never use my AC because I don't want to lose any power or for that matter waste anymore gas
my understanding is the AC declutches at WOT.
Parasitic load of AC is probably ten HP, just a WAG.
My issue with A/c is Diablo never figured out how to set the Cooling fans to come on to accommodate a 180 etc. T-stat in the tune ( for my 08 at least)so when I use the A/C the Water temp gets up there, and that robs power.

Yeah no way not to run the a/c down south, heck I run it damn near year round.
Today's a/c compressors are very efficient and I doubt it's even 10 hp to drive it, more like 2 or 3 hp. And the increased aero from keeping your windows up more than makes up for any fuel saved from not turning the compressor.
Definitely back in the day the a/c was a big power robber but today it just basically runs in the background and I don't even think about it.
well, might I recommend a power-adder? If you are concerned enough to not run your AC (which as others have mentioned, is at worst a negligible loss), perhaps you desire more than your hemi is currently offering.
Even if the a/c vamped 10hp most DD wouldn't even notice. Use the a/c, a/c is your friend and just wants to make you happy. Alternative fact. A/c will help preserve and keep the interior clean. [emoji482]
Demon has something to keep the water so it doesn't drip on the track and also runs the Chiller for more power, be nice to be able to keep the AC on without the drip. [emoji16]
