hello from Quebec, I would like to change my scat pack shaker for a scat pack widebody, there is a lot of improvement, on the braking suspension and others. I'm doing two to three lapping out in the summer and I know that the new scat pack widebody holds the track better. What do you think ? Tire Wheel Vehicle Car Hood

Other than the flares from the factory, I don't think there is anything you can't do yourself to make your car handle better than the widebody does. It's still using the same suspension/brakes available on a non-widebody if I'm not mistaken. So really it's just bigger tires and flares to hide them.

The new scat will have full SRT pages functionality (same as Tazer allows), three mode SRT shocks, higher rate front springs, larger sway bars same size as Hellcats except they will be hollow, and of course, those lovely Big Hellcat Brembos up front, not to mention the new optional 305 summer pzeros co-developed with BMW. Other than that, they are the same ;-). Definitely more of a track car.

there is a lot of admiration for the new scat pack widebody, especially the suspension that makes it does not have the same road holding. when talking about making 2 (12 car distance) seconds better than the normal Scat Pack per lap, that's a lot.

I placed the order, a Scat pack widebody 2019 f8 green.

I do not have the means to buy the redyey ... here in Canada have talked about $ 65,000 for a Scat pack widebody

Don't read too much into those press release times they gave. They hang themselves when they mention the new widebody SP is as fast as the narrow body Hellcat around that same track. Because in the real world independent testing, the Hellcat is slower around the track than pre-MY19 SP. Randy Pobst drove both around the Streets of Willow. The times clearly show the Hellcat despite having 6pots, adjustable suspension, and wider tires simply can't overcome the weight and balance problems.

'15 SP Challenger (with 4pots and 245 A/S tires): 1:25.76
'15 Charger Hellcat: 1:26.87

So how in the world is the new widebody with it's much wider and true summer only tires (and the other tweaks) only matching the H/C's times on Dodge's test track. You can guess why

Metro in the end it's your money and decision. If you want to buy a new car and all the positives that go with that (warranty!), then definitely get the widebody since you actually will track it. But if you are just wanting to up your track times and don't really care about the benefits of a trading for a new car, then spend your money on upgrades...you'll get a much better ROI.

BTW, nice F8... even though I'm biased... i get a lot of compliments on the color, a ton more than my white and granite scats.... now if I could just get a frostbite WB Charger, I'd be all set. they are tempting me with a B5 Challey WB that's sitting at my local dealer... man it's beautiful... I just think it will be hard for me as I got about 2 more years to where I need the back doors for kids and their friends lol....

Can someone clarify something for me. This post seems like a good place for my question. So are the bumpers and panels on the 19 WB SP's gonna be different than, say, a 2015 SP?Will it be possible to purchase the fender flares for a 2019, and fab them to a 15 SP?I already have 275 front/315 rears...just think the widebody look would tie it all in real nice.

but isn't there also the appearance factor? I mean I hope they one day give us a WB charger but to me it's mainly as I feel it looks really great and also hopefully it's get a little better traction and possible handling. I'm not really ever going to a track but it looks better and my 19 SP still has the traction problem, even with the 275's. not that 305's is such a world of difference but it can't hurt. also, with the wider fenders and rims, can you go even wider on the tire? I think my SP has 9.5" 275's, I think the WB has 11" rims if I recall? sorry if this has all been discussed already, just curious.
