Recently purchased 2012 Challenger SRT8 Yellow Jacket. What are some ideas to do to her? It already has a K&N untake.

Does it need a catch can?

What mods can I make to get her over 500hp?

You do not NEED a catch can, anyone who says it's necessary is full of crap. There's too many cars with too many miles without them to say they're necessary. Jeeeesh.

There are several mods that can be done, depending on your budget. Tires and Tune should be the first 2 steps.

Then, the purpose of the car (Drag Racing, Road Racing, Daily Driver, etc) will determine the best route based on your budget.

Thanks for the info, .it will be somewhat of a daily driver. What time or tuner would you recommend?

We have a few good ones to choose from. If you're smart and know what you're adjusting you can go the HP Tuner route and do it yourself.

I'm relatively new to tuning EFI so I used DiabloSport T2 and an email from Jay Greene. I have a few other mods as well...long tubes, catless mids, 180* thermostat. I'm on my first revision from him, which combined with my mods and some drag radials took almost a full second off my 1/4 mile time.
