Yes and the driver controls the launch RPM's with his foot.

    Now plumbing either.

My KTM motocross bikes have launch control. My Scamp has line lock. Oddly enough, they aren’t connected and aren’t the same ****ing thing.

To be fair, I don't use either. No line lock to heat the tires, just HP and no LC to leave the line, just my right foot Launch control

I move into the water box, hold the brake a little, drop the hammer and let off on the brake, smoke the tires, ease into the staging lanes, punch up launch control and I am off to the races eating a Burrito. I have an auto. lmao

Same here when I run the Vette... 12.4/116 not bad for a stock 08 Vette and 76 year old driver tht hasn't bee to the track in 40 years. Reaction time sucks.

Need to wear the P zero's down a bit more before I trash them at Little River.

You set the launch RPM, the computer uses the ABS to lock the front brakes, aka - line lock, you put the pedal to the metal and drop the clutch.
Line lock and launch control are COMPLETELY different.
Line lock only locks your front brakes so you can heat/spin your tires without burning the rear brakes.
Launch control is torque management to hold your rpms like a TRANS BRAKE , not line lock.

OP , I think your out of luck, but Hp tuners has a launch control in the latest or beta version , I just don’t know if it’s available for your car. But worth investigating....

Stick car you’ll want a line lock and a two step. Line lock not needed but depending on the track t could save you from rolling out the beams when on the clutch.
Two step for launching rpms. Set the rpms you want to leave at. That way you can have your foot on the boards and it will only rpm to what you set it at.
Regulate clutch release and drive like a man.
