We'll probably be there if I can manage to get the converter swapped out.......if I don't I'll probably be in the hospital with a broken neck
I've been told the Ashpalt Wars event last weekend was rained out and was re-scheduled for this Saturday.
That means there will be more cars there, and it also means prep will be better since there will be some very fast cars on the track.
Added you both to the list. I like to park in the grass... it's closer to the staging lanes. Besides, there will be lots of big dogs there who like to park on the asphalt side.
Should be fun, Greg. I've been watching the weather closely this week. It's not bad at all, but nowhere near as good as Atco will be. Thompson's 1200' elevation doesn't help.
I've never seen this many cars here before. 75 degrees in middle October probably has lots to do with it. I can't hook. Too light in the ass without having adjustable suspension.
Yep,
10.96 and two 11.01. Track is a madhouse. I left at 4:30, last pass was at approx 2:00 and it was going to probably be another couple of hours before the next chance. Last pass, DA peaked at 2700, crazy for this time of year.
Woulda preferred 45* and cloudy, DA would have been better and the not-so-serious racers would have stayed home.:banghead:
Total waste of friggin time. She made one pass (kinda) off the trailer and then we sat for 5 hours waiting, and waiting, and waiting, until finally we loaded up and drove the 90 miles back home. Glad they advertised a T&T.
