    Got boost? Whipple charger installed

Just drove home from the shop and holy crap...i gotta up the boost. Had a hell of a time with the tune. Whipple sent me a Bullydog BDX which failed and sent me an RMA which didnt work before Bullydog stated it wasnt supported. Finally i said screw it and bought a Diablo i3 because ive always had good luck with Diablo and whipples site said the have tunes for it...they dont...only up to 2010. Got a tune from Johan to drive it away.

So far so good. Popped a coolant code, may need to bleed it again. Fast as hell though. Cant wait to up the boost.

    NICE!
I wanna do the same thing, or at least install some kind of supercharger in the future.

Any details on cost of the install? Did you do anything to your engine (pistons/rods/crank/cam/etc.), transmission/transfer case, or axles beforehand?
    I'm jealous!
    Good luck and stay safe!
Brilliant Black 2010 300C, 5.7, AWD. Currently all stock except for lower intake silencer removal and home-made CAI, black plasti-dipped exterior trim and all interior lights replaced with LEDs, Intune i2. More mods when more $...

My brother is a dodge mechanic so we used his shop. I gave him some cash and all meals during install. It did take 8 hours. Not difficult just methodical. Any hiccups we had were Whipples fault.

Im stock motor. See sig for mods. There seems to be several 5.7s with stock internals doing around 8-10psi reliably. Thats my next step. 500hp seems to be the number where you need to start doing trans and supporting mods.

    Thanks for the reply!
You have a very nice brother.
I'll take 500 horses for a daily driver any day. It's encouraging that you didn't need to upgrade the internals.
Guess I gotta start my supercharger fund.
Thanks again and please keep this forum updated on progress.
    Good luck!

Keep your eye out for used SC deals, I picked up a full vortech kit for 3200 bucks.

No immediate plans...never been a dragstrip guy. More road course autoX. Not against it.

The base 6psi is still great but i want more...not as intense as i thought it would be. I think ill bump to 8psi by summer. I still have the starter tune so once the snow goes away i will send a log set to johan for some fine tuning. The coilovers are good. The thing is i have them at max height and my cars stance looks perfect to me. See the AWD photo thread. I still have them at stock settings too and they are a little stiff for me but there is plenty of notches to turn them down. The coilovers did a lot for the handling though.
