    Stealth side mount subwoofer enclosure

Hey guys here is my new prototype subwoofer enclosure build for my challenger. Previous I did a all in one solution, which used a built in amplifier. Due to availability and performance of the amp I decided to go in another direction. With this enclosure it will have a 1cu ft of air space to accommodate most 12" subwoofers. Mounting depth is around 7". The subwoofer I will be using in this build will be a Helix E12W 12" subwoofer. Its a sound quality sub that has a shallow mounting depth of only 3.5". Ive done these subs in other installs with the 8" and 10" with decent output. So the E12W should perform well. Also since its a slim sub I will save on weight.

custom pressed grill which is covered by black grill cloth and black Alcantra suede. A stealth look is finally achieved with grill cover.

Very cool! Mine's not as nice, but it gets the job done.
Amp and Cap are on the opposite side to even out the weight just a little.

Can u or do you have a plug in play for older cars like a 09 srt challenger? It has the kicker factory sub in there now.

I can do these for any challenger 2008-2017. So are you looking to replace the kicker factory sub setup? Do you have the oem headunit? if so
you would use a kit like this

If you have an aftermarket headunit you would only need an standard amp kit to power the amplifier
    like this

    Looks great!

I've been looking to add a sub to my 15 Challenger Scat Pack but want to use the space under the trunk/with the tire repair kit. That space is empty at the moment and I've got the oem head unit.

    Any recommendations?

Yeah I only build the enclosure system like this since it yields better sound quality and output. I've built them under the false floor in the past, but didnt like the output and sound performance. I would say mounting amps below there in that space is a great option. not a fan of the subs being down there. The system I build is design for plug and play for the oem headunit. Allows you to add aftermarket amps.
