Arrow 300C AWD Hooptie Drag Build

Hey guys I'm new to the forum. My ride is a 2006 hemi awd 300c. 175k miles, generic ebay exhaust, SRT8 intake, and Diablosport 91octane tune, and some tires from a GTI to lower the effective gear ratio to ~3.42. Oh, and alot of weight reduction.

Hoping to crack 12's with more weight reduction and some adjustments to the tune. There are drags next weekend, I'll post the results.

The strip closed for the last drag day....

I'll be removing a lot more weight over winter, lets see if it'll crack 12's when April rolls around! Will post updates.

Ran the 300 yesterday. Results: 13.06 at 104.3 mph, with 1.88 60ft! Getting Quicker. Going to install a 3000 stall converter and see if I can bring the 60ft time down a bit.

Nice. Keep chipping away at it. What’s your weight?
Those tires look really small. I get that you want to get a better ratio but having more sidewall may help with traction.

That is awesome.. . love it. A mild cam will put that car solid in the 12's and should not be too much for the T-case.

No idea on the weigh, I have to go to a weigh station to see. It dead hooks, so for now the tires are perfect.
If I can get it in the 1.7's 60ft with the converter I'd be happy.

First run of the season with the 3000 Stall converter added: [email protected] with a 1.77 60ft.
Still no real traction issues, although it hops a bit on launch.

Lowering it with springs should help with the air drag with the high AWD suspension. Not sure how much that would help though. There are many ways to shrink the springs you have. Also you can remove the spring seats top and bottom, and put cut 5/8 “ hose around the top and bottom of the spring where it contact the metal. This should help with about a 1-1.5” drop.
    Keep Going!!
Also I saw a guy with a 1st gen transfer case on one of the F.Book mopar parts sale forums for $75. From Ohio.
That would be a great backup for you. Hell send it out to get hardened.
if interested I can find the post for you.

If you are getting a hop, lower your launch RPM to 1500. Hopping will break your transfer case. I am on my fourth one. Take my word for it. Hopping also slows down your 60 ft.
