Hi Guys,

I live near the plant that makes them, and i normally see LX's on test drives on the way to work. Yesterday I saw a Challenger with black cloth covering the whole front and back. This was a production car ( I thought it was grey under the covers) with the foam protectors on the doors. It had the big wheels, but I could not see any of the other details beyond the doors. I followed him for a bit but it was all covered up.

I do not see many magnums leaving the plant on car carriers so maybe they are ramping up Challenger production.

I'll have to take a peek next time I am touring my test track building there. Probably won't be able to get a photo though...

It is happening!
We are scratching to get some changes done on the Fuel Door Cup we make.
Sweet cars indeed but keeping the Magnum.

Challenger production will not begin until April 2008, what you are seeing are pre-production models only.

For sure, pre-production units that are being test built to look for problems.

Wish they would have done that on the Magnums so the early 05 builds had hoods that fit right. :1puke:

They can ship one down here and I'll be more than glad to test it out for them - heck I'd even leave the bra/diguise panels on even!

Who would think to look in North georgia for a pre-production spy shot of one?
