It was actually a Hennessy Venom - a Viper on steroids. Driver was tiptoeing around the track. Having said that we were flying on my slicks - passed everything ahead - never got passed - so it was a good evening!

Were you pushing it hard? You seem to be very relaxed in that video.

Yep - pushing very hard. If the car is set up well, and if you are hitting all the lines well, it does appear to look relaxed, as you are not fighting with the car.

We passed several fast cars in that vid.

Looks like a Sunday drive; the whole experience is sooo much more enjoyable when the you're not up on the wheel all the time :^D

The local racers are buzzing about my 300 and that lapping session. Have a hard time convincing them the engine is OEM. LOL!

Being smooth is what it's all about, excellent technical video Pat!! My Friday was similar until I broke a rotor at 100 MPH on the back straight of NJMP Lightning track. Will post up pics in another thread! I'm glad I lived to tell about this one. ;) :thumbs_u:

A broken rotor at 100mph! Yikes! Glad you are okay, Meech.

Thanks for the comment, buddy. The car is neutral and the slicks are gripping. Much faster in the corners, now. Just need a smaller steering wheel now.

You have to change your handle to "Smooth Rider". Glad you are having a ball, Pat!

Thanks! Really enjoying my cars these days!

Awesome! Love it!

The turning point for us came in our approach to the setup. Instead of thinking of the long wheelbase as a negative, we approached it as a positive, stabilizing factor, and tuned the springs, shocks, camber, toe-in etc. accordingly. Props to aftermarket suppliers such as Speedlogix for giving us more tools to work with, and props to my guys at Powersports Garage, with their experience with TA2 cars, Porsche Cup, Chump, etc., for helping me to 'dial the old 300C SRT8 in.
