I raced in a different class today due to me being the only one signed up in the class I nornally race in
I finished 2nd in the ST2 class I had issues with the Stability control. It has never worked so I never tried to disable it. Now all the sudden it starts working. It was interfering by not letting me have full throttle and it was applying the brakes when It thought I was out of control. I will have to try to disable it in the morning.

hrm, maybe the old key trick to disable? I know it kills abs and traction, but i am not sure about stability.

while running the car over 15mph, turn the key to start position for 3-4 seconds and you'll hear a ding and the trac and abs lights light up on the dash.

Not sure if this applies, but it might be worth a try.

I need the ABS .I wonder if I disconnect the G-force sensor will the ABS work?

a few things take out ABS. I am not totally sure what all of them are though. If you need ABS, this gets trickier.

I usually run my car with the key trick at most tracks. Seems to free up the car as far as i can tell. Only ever dragged a wheel once or twice doing it.

Congratulations, I hope you kick the gremlin out for tomorrow.

In my Vette I can pull enough vertical g force to turn the passenger seat belt light on and active handling does not show. That leads me to believe lateral g force is what you are looking for.

Tell Bill Howell and Yancy that Ray Alexander said hello. I auto crossed with them about 3 years ago in Gatlinburg, TN. I believe Yancy had the fastest lap of the day driving my SRT8 Charger.

I was able to hold in the ESP button for 5 sec to disable it . I swear I could still feel it interfering a little . I finished 2nd again today . video to follow.

Don't you normally run AI....and you were the only car? that's sucks. FYI: Mid Atlantic usually has about 10 cars in AI, come up to VIR next month!!!!

BTW: I'm starting another thread you'll be interested in.
