What is it all about?

It is all about camaraderie, safety, sportsmanship and just good fun! There will be specific passing zones on a fully marshaled track, so playing nice is mandatory!

If you live in Eastern or Southern Ontario; Southern Quebec; Upper New York State; Vermont; etc, Calabogie Motorsports Park is an amazing 3 mile road course with lot of elevation changes and 20 turns - and wide, super smooth asphalt - State of The Art!

This series is entering it's 3rd year and we have had 0 contact or on track incidents.

There has been a change to the rules:

You must have an in-car video system with a removable memory card or cables on hand to download the video’s while at the track. (eg. Hero Cam)

This means you can use other video recording devices without a removeable chip - iPhones; etc. :)

Ive got that system setup already, but any idea why they want that? Do they ask you to hand it over at the end of the race?

They want it as part of our liability requirements so they can better analyse a possible 'on track' incident. So far, it has never been needed. And - no - you don't have to supply the video at the end of each race - only if requested.

Got it, thanks for the clear response.

Ive got a dash cam in the front, one out the back as well on track days, with GPS logging, and G force logging. I can not wait for the season to start.
