The Flying Dutchman <hehe>

Congrats on the 2nd place!

What is your race wieght approximately?
The rear cradle hiem joints - are those your own design?
The wheel bearing failure - how long did it take?
How much do you rely on the rear wing?

The car weighs around 3500 dry
The hiem joints are 5/8 with 9 in con tubes from a local race supply store . I did have to have some bushings and shims made to center them and to work with the stock size bolts. and cut a body weld seam so they wouldn't get bent when the car bottoms out

I have had several wheel bearings get worn and replaced over the last 3 yrs and one failure it was probably due to a off the race before that was bad enough to warp a wheel

The main thing is the car has a 54/46 front/rear weight balance the wing helps balance that out at speed. there is several seconds a lap difference with The aero. the car feels pretty scary with out it.

HEY......I'm posting a zoomed in view of a photo Schen Photo posted in another thread of my car coming through turn 4 at Summit a couple weeks ago. It's captured from a web page here so it's low res but you can see the same deflection of the tire/rim (I guess that's what it's called as I never knew before).
