here is a photo of my lemons team taking our punishment for speeding on pit row. we had to drive around the paddock chanting "all hale the great helmsman"

we were in ninth out of 64 after the first hour
but had brake trouble after that which put us back to 36th then we vented the block after 5.5 hours . it's the most fun you can have with your clothes on

It was our best finish yet. Out of 105 cars on a 1.1 mile track we finished 13 . no penaltys even though I crashed the car. the timing tower stated it was unavoidale on my part. A corner worker flagged a car out of the pits right in front of me as was in a corner side by side with another car making me the middle of a car sandwich at about 70mph it took about 30 min. to fix the car well enough to make laps. with out that we should have finished in the top 10.

It was nice meeting ya on sunday! Your 300zx sure pulled harder than our '86 300zx did.. maybe its time for a turbo setup.. we ended up 35th of 105.. No black flags except for when I cooked the brake fluid and lost the pedal going in to T1. think its time we install some home made cooling ducts..

hope to see you guys at the next one! :friday:

if you guys are on the fence about doing this.. its a great event.. FUN EVENT! lots of good folks, car guys and good times to be had..
