I just PCSed back to Germany (I was at Ramstein from 03-06), and I was wondering how many insurance options are out there. USAA is quoting me $300+ a month with a $500 deductible. That's a lot to me since I pay $445 a month for my auto loan. bigrone was telling me about Atlantic Trust, and they're just as high. So are there any more options out there?!

You can Try AIG that what I think I had and it wasn't too expensive. I was there from 99 - 07 in the Vilseck/Graf area and then later in Heidelberg.

AIG quoted me about 155 Euros a month with a 10% discount every bill...but damn $300+ a month? I got quoted $303 a month for full coverage for my suburban and my MSRT8

I don't remember what the rates were when I was stationed there a decade ago, but at the time, USAA was by far the way to go.

Don't go for some bare minimum coverage company who won't be there for you when you need what insurance is for. The monthly premium is only half the story.

as of right now my current USAA coverage is $142 a month for 2 vehicles (Suburban and Plymouth Van) fully insured. When I recieve my MSRT8 towards the middle to end of this month, im selling the van and my insurance will bump up to $303 a month, ill pay that for about a month or 2 then itll drop back down to like $233
