Hey California/Nevada guys check this out:

http://www.speedventures.com/events/eventdetail.aspx?id=225

This event is going to happen but attendance is markedly light. Only 16 signups so far and I know this vendor likes to pack in like 100-125 cars in a day. He will likely partner up with someone (TrackMasters I would guess) to add some more drivers last-minute, but no matter what this is going to be a wide-open track.

TH is a VERY fun course. Most of the turns open onto open countryside and not concrete walls. It was repaved last season and is very nicely grippy and bump-free. You will love driving this course! And the paddock area is covered. So even if it rains or is blazing hot... you stay comfy. Its a very racer-friendly course.

If this isn't good enough, the price is KILLER: $185. I usually pay $275 for a day here.

I will be strapping on the Hoosiers and going for lap times this time around. Normally on TH I run with a group that doesn't allow timing. This vendor is different.

Lodging is cheap, too. I'll be at the Days Inn. You don't want to go to the Super 8, which is cheaper and next door. The Baymont just on the other side of the road is good too.

So I take it you got everything straitened out with those Hoosiers then?

Have fun. We get to hit it on Monday at the Lightning raceway!

Check this out, with an update I just put in today:

Those BFG's you are running are even lighter-duty than the Hoosiers. I'd either switch to the Hoosiers if they get a clean bill of health or drop the BFG's and go with the Plan C I am talking about there. Either way, personally, if it was me I'd never run those tires. The weights they give at the higher starting pressures they specify are just too low imho.

Have fun. We get to hit it on Monday at the Lightning raceway!I'm jealous :-) You guys are running with non-LX's and there is NOTHING I would like more than to flatten a few of those guys once they think they know who they are dealing with.

You can catch him. I'm two for two with them on-track.
