Hello All

Well it looks like I can drive my car again. Been driving it for a few weeks now with no more issues. Still can't say what exactly the issue was but it got better once I bought a new battery for it.

It all started 2 days after i changed the rear end down in calgary last year. Thanks again for the help on that last year boys. A code ( P0717) kept coming up and putting my in a limb code not changing out of 1st and going over 2500 rpm. So i thought my tranny was shot and did not have the money to play with that after the rear end work. So sat on the car for a year. This year came and i took it to a transmission shop near my place. They could not find anything wrong with the tranny but we changed the board in it just to try it. So I go to pick it up and talk to them. They said when they plugged in their computer they came up with 11 codes. well F**K. I am like now what do i do. So I am thinking maybe me mopar after market TCM is screwed. So I put my old stock one back in. It let me drive it for a little bit but does the same thing again. And through out all this there was times it would not even let me start the car for a couple days at a time. lights and radio and everything else would come on but just no sign of it trying to start like it was in a safe mode or something. So I am sitting down trying to look at all the codes and see if there is something in common with them all some how. They are all saying (Harness is open or shorted and circuit poor electrical connection.) Pointing me towards just a bad short some where or something like that. But some are saying low voltage to that code as well. But the whole time when the car is running or I could drive it the dash was saying 14 ish for battery so I am like that is fine. Now this last winter i kept my car in my parking lot with the batter in it and it froze and had to recharge it as well this spring. So after some time I was like the batter is 4 years old any ways, it cant hurt to just get another one. So I did. It would not let me start it with the old one. Put the new one in and start right up. Went for a drive and i am feeling confident that is it all good. But nope. Went it limp mode for about 30 seconds driving back from getting grocery but it came out of it. got home checked the codes and a bunch of new one were there. But they were all really minor ones i thought. So just cleared them. Just a piece of mind I took it to the stealership to try and have the whole electrical system checked over. Make sure the alternator was still good after 10 years and to give it a good check. There was a couple minor codes ( but no check enging light on) when I took it in. They mention a star case from dodge that required changing a couple of relay but that was it and everything else was good. It has now been a couple of weeks since my check engine light has came up. ( once since at the dealership) So not sure how, what, why of it all really but it seems to be better. So f**cking wierd.

So now i have a couple parts on order for the old girl. Took my Mopar TCM out and have sent that away to get A.J. Hemi tuner to do his magic with that. And have ordered a LMI Hammer intake. Once i get all that back I will take it to the track again if no more codes show up some time next month I hope. Sure drives different with that TCM out though.

Kewl! I get the feeling that the more you drive it, the less issues there'll be.

I almost fergot about LX forums - had to do the temp password thing it's been so long! Still have the '06 V6 SC; it's still a loud pile of garbage, but runs like an absolute champ! Might shoot for an outing at castrol this summer if work allows!

Check all of your grounds. A builder left a small ground wire loose in the trunk around the battery and it created all kinds of havoc with the car (Lt.'s Charger). Anywhere from no start to dash light going out to dead battery. Drove us nuts until we found that one wire loose. These cars need good, solid voltage / amps given all the computer modules, coils, fuel pump(s), etc. HAVE to have a good battery and good connections.
