New conductor plate, fluid and filter replaced. Now the scanner only found those two codes nothing else at all....read around....abs wheel sensors? Wouldn't there be a code for those? I was about to put in a used 90k tranny....hoping I don't need to
Causes of this DTC may include: Low or dirty transmission fluid Worn pump or clogged fluid filter Torque converter clutch, solenoid, or internal blockage Mechanical failure inside transmission Internal blockage inside transmission main control Faulty shift solenoids or wiring Faulty transmission control module
Yes, unfortunately some unscrupulous people figured they could make money by offering something that really does not function properly.
If you have the ability to read real-time the transmission temperature PID, a good / inexpensive facsimile for a dipstick is a white 3ft zip tie from home Depot . It'll reach to the bottom of the pan (it must touch the bottom of the pan and measure fluid depth from there). Simply notch the bottom 10cm - every 5mm. As you watch the fluid temperature rise, constantly measure the fluid level.
You must measure while the transmission is in Neutral. Why? When in Park, the PID is actually looking at coolant temperature - not transmission fluid temperature!
You also need a scan tool that can read the trans temp. A cheap Amazon bluetooth adapter and the torque pro app should work.
