    Pre eagle 5.7 truck heads

That come without egr. Can I use these to build a spare set for an 06 magnum rt? It just requires some tuning?

Pre-eagle no EGR, you either have 03 1500 heads or 03-08 2500/3500 heads. Either delete EGR (if you haven't already) or open up the EGR port on the head.

Yes you can. You need to be able to delete EGR functionality within the tune or accept the DTC that would be (permanently) set.

    Same car....how about this?

Eagle intake-eagle heads-stock eagle manifolds-my current JBA awd mids?

If the stock eagle exhaust manifold will bolt to my current mids, that would save me a lot of trouble

You can work around the non EGR truck heads with either doing an EGR delete or doing a little drilling you may be missing one drilled and threaded hole for the EGR valve as well. You will need to make sure the drivers side head is tapped for the power steering pump bolts as well. Otherwise they are the same castings as heads used on pre Eagle cars.

Sounds like a recipe for fun, they should work, the eagle exhaust manifolds are shaped a bit different but not so much that you couldn't make them work. Hopefully you're gonna cam it if you're gonna go through all that work though.

No cam. That 35 hp average gain isnt worth the cost of cam, spring, pushrod plus tuning.

However. The E50 I can get with the bigger injectors is.

Yes there are spacers out there for it, just like old 5.7 heads to 6.1, just don't want to see him try and bolt them down and have a WTF moment
