Tranny cooler - which lines are which?

Does anyone know FOR SURE which line is incoming and which is outgoing?
I would assume the top is from the tranny and the bottom is the return back to tranny, but I could be wrong.

    Thanks guys!

I would think top return, makes the most sense.

If you look at the transmission there's arrows indicating the direction of flow.

Just power brake it a little then shut it down, the cooler of the two lines is the return.

If it is a NAG1, the return is the bottom hard line when looking at the cooler.

At the cooler, yes that makes the most sense. Keeps the filter full as the fluid pushes in from the bottom and flows back out to trans from the top.

8HP45 (8 Spd) not NAG1, cooler integrated into the Condenser.
Are arrows underneath the car or at the cooler? They transition from hardline to I believe 3/8 rubber hose about 18 inches from the cooler.

As with all previous platforms, the transmission cooler is integrated. Arrows indicating flow direction are molded into the housing next to the hard lines. You might check for same on yours.
