    Problem with cruise control

    On my chrysler 300s 5.7l from 2013 , I have my cruise control that works intermittently. sometimes I can activate it sometimes when I press the button nothing happens . Who can help me ?

    Do you have the adaptive cruise control/ technology package? Do you get any warning/error messages when attempting to activate?
    By sometimes it wont activate, will it not activate for that whole drive, or you can try pressing it again it does activate.

    i dont have the adaptive cruise control . no error message when i cont activate it .

    sometimes it starts working again when I shut off the engine and restart

    sorry i dont have a good english

    Disconnect the batter cables and wait 10 minutes then reconnect. This helps sometimes to clear little glitches like this.

    anyone know how to disassemble the cruise control button?

    To get the button module out requires you to remove the airbag to access the 2 screws that hold it in place, along with on on the back.

    If your looking to replace the module to see if that your issue, I have one that I had previously installed with the three AUX buttons on the bottom (perfect upgrade if you have a tazer) that I can confirm works no problem.

    More than likely it's a clockspring. There are probable codes in the system that will show this.
