Of course I am out of warranty and most of the carbon fiber trim is coming off. Seen this before and can't remember what folks did to fix it. Superglue? The only piece staying put is around the shifter and the dealer has fixed it 3 times so for sure it's going to come off again...little help here?

So far no glues have worked once it gets hot outside they peel up again. Includes plastic epoxy, gorilla epoxy, superglue with the following brands Loctite, gorilla glue, and JB weld. Works fine if it never gets hot outside.

I will be ordering some good 3M stuff and will let you know how it works.

I was on my 4th center console piece and now driver side door-panel pieces have fallen off as well. 70k miles they took pictures but i wont hold my breathe they will continue to fix this.

I just bought a 2012 srt. I haven't been able to pick it up for 2 days because I asked them to fix the shifter piece peeling and it's been at the interior place for 2 days haha.

You should go get your car. These pieces are on constant back order and take weeks to months to come in usually. It's literally a two minute-do-in-a-parking-lot job

Gorilla gel super glue has held the longest for me so far. I place a thin layer on the trim piece and the panel, making sure it contacts the surfaces well. I wait 15 seconds or so afterwards, then apply the pieces together. I then keep pressure across the piece for around 2 minutes, to make sure it sets and dries properly.

I haven't found anything yet that holds it forever. But, the gel glue works great, applies quickly, doesn't run, and holds a long time. When it does eventually peel, I just scratch the dried glue off with a flathead, and re-stick. Every car has something. If it's just trim pieces, I'll take it.

i have had some pieces replaced under warranty. my center piece around the auto shift started to peel post warranty. my shop tried a glue/resin, forgot the brand but it was a two part glue. anyway that only lasted a week.

so today we just said f-it we'll screw the damn thing down so it never comes off again. here are the results (sorry console is a bit dirty needs to be wiped down):

I would use polyurethane liquid nails glue or even window weld (3m) they are some of the strongest bonding adhesives I ever used and never had a problem of the things I glued separating.

Summer must be here. The trim above the glove box and both passenger doors are lifting. Good to know I can use the trim as a temp gauge...have 40k on the car and the dealer said to call Chrysler-out of warranty...have a case number now. Let’s see what they say...

Best of luck to you. Tell them there's a bunch of us that deal with this regularly, and we'd love to have some pieces that don't fall off. They recalled the Jeep, why can't they recall the 300 too.

The gorilla "flexible formula" super glue gel is still working best for me. It's been a long while since any piece has fallen off. My far-left drivers side piece on the dash is lifted off about half way. I think I'll just pull the whole thing off soon, and re-glue it down.

I tinted windows and added a covercraft windsheild screen as well as stopped using the heated and cooled cup holders and the shifter plate bezel has survived for about 8 months now. I do believe I had 4-5 installed under warranty. I had one installed on Friday and it had to be replaced Monday morning lol.

My dealer has replaced so many they now keep them in stock. Direct sunlight seems to kill these these things the one that warped over the weekend I left the panaroma roof uncovered all weekend and the car sat and cooked in the sun.

all my door trim has fallen off and Chrsyler refused to warranty that but I will try to glue that in as it isnt as warped as the shifter bezel.

Keep us posted, I feel as though I might have to replace all of mine my as well too in the near future when I get around to it, hope I can find something at a local car/auto shop that can fix this issue.

Bought this and used it on the doors and passenger dash. Rear door trim had completely fallen off and the front passenger door and dash were curling from the edges. Has been holding in the summer heat for about a month now so I think I'm good. This stuff was a gel so it was easy to apply without any runs. Saved about $594 versus paying the dealer. Still hacked that FCA won't do anything about it...Going to use my "savings" to buy fatter tires-managed 40k out of the stockers and they are b-a-l-d.

FCA bulletin: Carbon fiber trim falling off

I got my bulletin yesterday. FCA states that it is extending the warranty for the Interior Door Trim and Instrument Panel Trim Appliqués.

It it does not specifically reference the Gear Shifter Bezel as being covered in this warranty extension.

Does anyone one have any additional information about the lack of stated coverage for the shifter bezel?

My SRT is a 2013 model.

I received the same notice as well. The strip of CF on the passenger side dash is pulling away as well as the shift bezel buckling. I will be taking my car into the dealership next week to get the pieces replaced. I will update if there is any push back on the shift bezel but I don't think its going to be an issue.

I just had mine done yesterday and it looks great! They replaced the complete shifter bezel (After I spent an hour removing the trashed CF overlay and sanding it smooth) as well as the two rear doors and a small piece to the left of the steering wheel.
