    300c problem

    Hi all!
My first post on this forum.
My 300c 3.0l diesel CRD has developed a problem.
The lightning bolt, eps light and skid light are on. I have read the fault codes and they are p0676 and u0101. I know that the first one is the #6 glow plug, but the other is a mistery. I am able to delete the codes but they come back the next day.
I live in the UK and Chrysler is no longer well supported (well, it never was really!).

    Any help/pointers very much appreciated!

    Welcome to the forums,

U0101 is lost communication with the TCM (transmission control module) - if you search these forums for that code you will find lots of results. One of the threads has some good troubleshooting info in it -> Lost communuications with TCM, was intermittent, now constant.

Could be the clockspring in the steering wheel, could also be the tone rings on the wheel hubs.

I suspect it may well be the tone ring(s) as the EVIC secret menu had ABS as LastChime.
Cleared all the codes with torque pro yesterday and since then no lights have come back on. Tomorrow morning getting the glowplug changed.

Glowplug got changed, but the other fault(s) are not fixed. The codes are too complex and they can't get involved. So, back to square one.

They gave me a print out of the codes:

    PCM - Powertrain control module
U0101 - Lost communication with TCM

    ABS - Anti Lock Brakes
U0101 - Lost communication with TCM

    MIC/CCN - Mechanical Instrument cluster
B1808 - Passenger door lock/unlock switch circuit stuck lock

    CGW - Central Gateway
U0101 - Lost communication with TCM

    What now??

Just a WAG but I would check the connections to the TCM and then follow the harness and look for chaffed wires.
