LOL. The SC isn’t going on this engine (the good one). It’s going on the Magnum engine swap. (I bought it with a seized 2.7). And this engine will be Plum Crazy(the color).

I may actually need to install 2 Right valve covers, that way it will be cleaner to rotate the coils around to make more clearance for the SC to fit. I can run the wires from the harness into the coils from the outside in.

Oh, and yes I may need to track down shorter nose. Otherwise I will 90 off of the back of the SC into the TB.

You may be 100% right. But 700hp isn’t my goal (this time).

Like I said, I’m trying to use an easy to find, inexpensive SC (and Eaton is reliable as well).

If I push 400hp, that would be awesome. Keep in mind I have a 4 speed in the car, and going much over 400hp could create transmission issues. Don’t want to go there. (But I have a plan for that as well if needed).

If I need more boost, I can look into smaller pulleys etc.

I’d love to see some of the 3800 research you’ve found.

There is a shorter snout for the M90 for both the Mustang and Jaguar. So that shouldn’t be a problem.

Also looks like there is a intercooler available too..

    Can a 3.5l motor make 80hp on a 10-71 blower with 4psi? Sure.

But am I wrong in getting hung up on the supercharger itself? Like a smaller blower is going to make more heat, increasing Temps, increasing "boost pressure" while reducing power.

So I agree with your point I just don't understand how that plays into a SPECIFIC supercharger or application.
In my case I had 187rwhp stock. added a powerdyne SC and was making 345rwhp. Ran 14,15 @102 in the 1/4 consistantly fully loaded with an audio setup and full tank of fuel. I've sence rebuilt the bock using a 4.0L block from a Dodoge Nitro, added big valve heads, blower cams etc. Should be around 420-450rwhp. Like reefstar, I wanted to use off the shelf parts. not going for max power... I want reliability. 345rwhp @ 10psi comes about to 15.8hp per pound of boost.

Yeah bud I think 315rwhp is problly that 42RLE transmissions limit. 2nd gear starts to hate you at WOT around that power band. It will have a hard time shifting at around 40 mph. BUT I was using 3.90 rear from a magnum so you nerver know.... lol
