    2010 challenger 3.5

I'm new to the 3.5 game, have several hemi's, problem is I bought a 3.5 challenger with a dead motor. Engine was disassembled and is missing the rotating assembly. I assumed 2008 thru 2010 3.5's were all the same, but don't know for sure. I am looking at a 2010 3.5 out of a charger. Any wisdom?

    Try Car-Part.com--Used Auto Parts Market

The prices are decent and you might luck up on a low mile one with a little warranty that's nearby.

The rotating assembly is a balanced unit but cranks and rods are available separately. The 3.5 out of the Charger should be plug and play but unless you know when the timing belt was changed you should have that done as well a a new water pump and tensioner before you install it. Also rocker arms can be an issue on any year 3.5 so check for signs of wear in the valvetrain.

Yes, make sure to check the valve train as it can get very noisy.
