My thoughts about Spring Fest 7 of LX's and Beyond…

Thursday Night 3/22/2012:

It started off Thursday night at Beach Burger. A huge thanks goes out to June & Mike (owners), they make sure that we are taken care of. They bring in extra workers so that the wait is not to long to deliver their awesome food!

The crowd was great and the parking lot was full of some really sweet rides from all over the U.S. and Canada.

I pulled up around 6PM or so and the nuts. I had to park way over by Subway but you know what, I was fine with that because that allowed people from elsewhere to park in the lot. I saw many new faces and regular ones as well. I think that we had around 70+ cars there that night. Chrysler was there with there camera and taking some great videos and interviews. They have already posted them up on youtube, so when you have a free minute. Go check them out. You might be on it or in the background!
Since this was and is a great location, we must continue it for the years to come.

What can I say about USW Forged that I haven't said in the past! They are AWESOME! Even with moving into a new spot, they decided to still have a free soft taco bar for every an attendance with drinks! The tacos were so good, I seen people going back for 3rd's and 4th's… yes that may have been Pat aka HULK but they were so good!!
The guy on the left is Bismarck and we won't talk about the guy on the right! :Na_Na_Na_Na:

Andrew is the new guy at USW Forged and he made sure that everyone there got a shirt!

Here is just a quick shot of some of the cars there:

So Biz, Andrew and the rest of the great staff at USW Forged… THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU!

After the tour and food at USW Forged… I drove over to the DT (DoubleTree) to catch up with a few friends and meet some new ones… and some of them twisted my arm to take them over to Joe's Italian Ice for a little ice cream treat.

It was so good!!! But somebody else needed more… like some ice coffee… he told us about a place called Café Lu and it was very close by. So being the awesome host and driver, I decided to go check it out. So this person was so happy!! Just look at that smile!!!

After we got our fix from the ice coffee, we headed back to the DT and I ran into this person! I think that she has crabs and wants me to bite her, since I going to a place called Boiling Crab!

So after having that snack, a few of us went over to the Spectrum and had dinner and drinks at D&B's! What a great dinner crew we had! Plus that table that was next to us was kinda boring!!! HEHEHEHEHE
Danny really enjoyed his blue fu fu drinks

Then Bill REALLY enjoyed his new BUDDY!

Thanks to Sarah and Travis!!! I OWE YOU BIG TIME!!!

Saturday Morning going over to the meeting spot with the other SoCalLX people, that I barely made in time!!! Saw a bunch of buddies I haven't seen in awhile there getting all excited about SF7!!

Thanks to Jon W, John F, Tom G, Chrysler & let's not forget all the PEOPLE that volunteered to help! From the welcome smiles coming from all the ladies at the front entrance to the happy people informing us where to park! You people are just the BEST and never forget it!!!
I did something I have never did at a Spring Fest EVER!!! Some of you seen it and some of you have seen the aftermath but yes… This table called me a COW afterwards!!! I broke it! LOL!

Plus I did an event at SF7, I ran the autocross. I didn't do that great on the first trip through it, so I decided I needed to add some liquid to my system and BAM! 4 seconds better!!!  The rest of the very SUNNY day was awesome! To see BT and Crew there in person was priceless! TruFiber, Newport Autosounds, Show & Performance, USW, Chrysler and the list goes on and on… well you can't have a better day with cars!!!
To top off the day, some of us got together for a quick photo shoot at the end of the runway.

Here is just one shot but what a pretty picture!

Then it was back to the the DT and picking up a few people for dinner! Slater's pancakes and fried chicken is the best!!! Thank you John!!!! :thumbs_u:

Back to the DT for a bunch of HEYYYYYYYYYY's and OOOOOOOOHHHHHHHHH's!!! and a few more cocktails!

So all in all… the event was so sweet! It came pretty close to the first two Spring Fest… Meeting new people and having a gathering for the people!!!

Can't wait til Spring Fest 8 and the DT!!!

If I left anyone out of this... I am so sorry!!!! But you know that I luv ya!!!

I second everything Albert said...the first SF I attended, last year's was awesome, but it can't compare to this year, knowing more people to start with, and meeting new ones in the process. It was great seeing my friends from Alberta, Bryan and the guys, and meeting Chris and Steve(n) and the guys from Space City LX! Congratulations again Tom, oh, I mean Your Honor, for getting your awesome ride into the Mopar's SEMA booth. I hope I'm there to see it next. And, least not forget, my friends at SoCalLX, it was great seeing you all!

Jon, Tom, John F and everyone...THANK YOU!

Great wrap up of all things Spring Fest Albert. You nailed it. Thanks again for bringing the Chocodiles for us in SpaceCityLX. We can't get them in Texas and now a few more in our club are chocodile junkies, lol.

See you next year my friend. Unless you plan on going to SEMA 2012. SpaceCityLX will be there to cheer our own Tom LeDeoux on for being selected Top Eliminator at SF7 and his Chally will be in Chrylsers booth.

I attended Springfest for the second time and it was just as awesome as the first Springfest5 event I attended. The scope and magnitude of the event is incredible and was made possible by Dodge/Chrysler and the vendors that supported the event. A big thanks to you all, Fatchance and the volunteers that had Springfest running like a finely tuned Mopar engine. I will continue to attend and hope to volunteer my services for future events. Good seeing you again Albert.

Good meeting you again Albert, at dinner, over beers, at the autocross and tears were falling of my face with laughter when I heard about the "Cow-incident"...
