I don't really want to write this, as I think Pete is a good guy with good intentions. His communication was on point when I first started my transaction. The deliverance of the product left much to be desired however.

I had ordered a full accuair set up for my car. I bought the bags, and mounts on the 4th of February. and the rest was paid for on February 11th of this year. I was entering my car in the local world of wheels, and it was March 17th. Thinking I had more than enough time to get it ordered, shipped and installed before the show. Unfortunately that is not how it worked out. Before ordering through Pete I had asked both Accuair, and Universal air what their turnaround times were. Accuair said 11 days, and Universal said they had the bags made, so no wait time other than packaging, and delivering. I thought I was golden!

I e-mailed on the 22nd asking when things should be shipped. And the communication was good, and I was told he was looking into it and he will get back to me with more information. I sent him an e-mail back on the 23rd saying thank you, and I have a friend with a charger srt8 that is looking into putting air ride on his car as well. His air ride was ordered that night. February 23rd.

Some e-mails were sent back and forth between us, with reply's saying he's working on it, etc. I am thankful for the communication.

I was told finally on March 7th, that things were shipped! I was relieved at this point as I would have the weekend to get things in, and functioning. Well, at that point I was. I got a tracking number 2 days later, when it finally went out. So it didn't ship on the 7th as I was told. It shipped on the 9th. If it's one thing I absolutely hate is getting lied to, and this experience has been nothing but.

Because of some storms plaguing the Memphis FedEx depot there was a delay in the shipment. It showed up late at my local depot on the 11th and wasn't going to get delivered till Monday. Which would have left me no time to install the kit before the show. Luckily they allowed me to pick it up Friday afternoon! Everything was finally good. I got my kit, ready to go!!

I'm so lucky I checked it though. I opened all the boxes, and the accuair manifold wasn't there.. The whole thing functions through that manifold! At this point I felt downright defeated. I got in contact with Pete and he worked very hard to get me the manifold sent out. But said I won't have it till Monday, or Tuesday. As ****ty as it was, I figured I had to deal with it. **** happens. He phoned me back not even an hour later, and said it would be to be the next day! I was ecstatic! He came through for me!

Come Saturday, I get the part around noon. And am forced to pay taxes, again. For something that I should have received in the original shipment and had already paid taxes on. At this point I didn't care. I just needed the part. I did end up getting it installed in time. Thankfully. I'm not sure a month wait is industry standard for air ride kits now-a-days, however when I installed bags on my last car in 2011 I had the shipping number the next day, and the kit within the same week.

On top of this all, remember that buddy that ordered his kit in the 23rd of February?

His kit arrived to him April 27th. That's over 2 months. And to really top it all off. It was missing everything but the tank, UAS mounts, air line, some wiring and compressors. This was after Pete had told him that he would guarantee everything was good with his order before going out. How in the world do you miss the bags, and ALL the accuair stuff when packing and shipping products? (More about that below.)

May 27th.. After taking matters into my own hands. I phoned accuair and asked them if they could give me any information on an order placed by Pete, or Zygote. They could not, as I expected and rightfully so. However, I asked them if they could tell me if they had any orders going out to Winnipeg, Manitoba. They said no. I then placed a call to Universal Air. I talked to Zack (Whom was a great help! btw) and he said he had shipped out everything that had been ordered through him. I told him that my friend had purchased a whole kit, and Zack said he was literally looking at a bunch of stock that could have been sent out. So.. the air bags and accuair products weren't even ordered through Universal Air. Let me point this out.. The air bags.. were not even purchased.. through the company that... manufactures them....... So Zack being the absolutely great help he offered to call Pete and see what was up as he had the stock he could send out right away. I got a call back from Zack and he told me that Pete would be ordering the rest of the stuff through him. That night, my buddy gets an email saying the rest of the stuff was ordered through Zack @ Universal Air and should be here next week because of the holiday. However Universal doesn't have the exo in mounts, and those would be coming directly from accuair. Pete's words were exactly this "The exo mount is coming directly from accuair and might be a couple days behind."

June 2nd! My buddy finally receives the rest of his kit. 102 days later. One Hundred, and two days later. Oh, minus the exo mount.

June 17.. 117 days later. Still no exo mount, e-mails consist of "looking into it" "trying to get it out" "accuair is being slow" "accuair sucks at communicating" I've been on the phone three times now with accuair for separate things. And they've been quite communicative with me...

As I mentioned in the very first part of this. I think Pete is a good guy with good intentions. Maybe it's time to hire someone else to keep on top of all the orders?

Or it's time to find another supplier/vendor as obviously your current one is ****ing you around..

I'm not entirely sure what could have been done to make this gone smoother than it did. Maybe I'm just impatient? I know my buddy is way more patient than me. But I think to make it right, the exo mount to actually be delivered, and some sort of monetary refund to both of us is in order.

It also sucks pretty bad, as Pete as a really good reputation on this forum. And both my buddy and I are in the market for a set of rims. If the transaction would have gone the other way, we would be purchasing rims through him as well... unfortunately at this point he has 2 customers that won't purchase from him again nor recommend him to their friends. A few whom are looking to do air, or rims, etc.

140 days.

The exo mounts were apparently back in stock 2 weeks ago. But haven't been shipped. But someone else has gotten theirs, and Pete "thinks" it may have shipped without him knowing. Seriously, if it had shipped my buddy would have it in his hands.

I'm surprised Pete hasn't replied to this thread. I do wonder how many other people are getting screwed around by him. I know I've seen 1 other person on this forum that said Pete told him his stuff was "backordered". I surely hope he does a credit card or paypal claim and doesn't wait past the time to do so. And orders from a reputable company, cause as far as I'm concerned Pete is far from it at this point.
