Absolutely horrifying crime

Knoxville (WVLT) - New details are developing in the double murder case of Channon Christian and Chris Newsom.

The Knox County District Attorney General's Office has called a 5:00 p.m. news conference in connection with the case, but declined to comment further on the details.The subjects pictured below raped Christopher Newsom, cut off his penis, then set him on fire and fatally shot him several times while they forced his girlfriend, Channon Christian, to watch. An even more cruel fate awaited her!

Channon Christian, was beaten and gang-raped in many ways for three days by all of them, while they took turns urinating on her. Then they cut off her breast and put chemicals in her mouth ... and then murdered her.

Also new today, according to the Marion County, KY Justice Center, a fifth person has been arrested in the case. That person, identified as Vanessa Coleman, was arrested in Lebanon, Kentucky, the same place where two other suspects, George Thomas, and Letalvis Cobbins were arrested in mid-January. She's being held on at least one warrant.

Coleman isn't a new name in this investigation. She's listed in an affidavit in support of a search warrant filed on January 22nd by Knoxville Police. Volunteer TV broke news of the search warrant on January 22nd, but at that time, we did not release Coleman's name because she had not been charged.
According to the affidavit, police spoke with Vanessa Coleman, who informed them, "she was present with the victim Christian was being held within the residence at 2316 Chipman Street on and around January 6th and 7th, 2007. "
The warrant continues, "during that time while the victim Christian was alive, she witnessed the victim's mouth being cleansed with some type of spray bottle of cleaning supply contained within the residence."

"Additionally, Coleman told (police investigators) that she witnessed clothing stained of blood, and smelling like gasoline being placed in the washing machine of the residence."

This is absolutely horrifying and sadly there is no punishment that is truly fit for such a terrible crime. I can't begin to imagine what that must have been like for those two kids... just the thought of how it would feel to be them gives me chills.

Give me a room alone with them, one at a time. I won't even charge the taxpayers a dime. There is no justice for these people... nothing can even come close. Makes you proud to be a member of the human race, doesn't it?

I can't even imagine a punishment that would fit that crime except to do the same back to them.

Or maybe tie them to a vehicle feet first and give them a tour of the city.

Yeah, really didn't need to read that on a car forum.

However, the centuries old practice of "Hung, Drawn and Quartered" would be too good for these "people".
