I would bet you will take that car to heights others would only dream of.
the mustang, well see them here in PX a lot, but not really even an eye catcher anymore. The jeep, would seem to make sense for your location.

and as far as this listing goes, I like it, and If I would have had that kind of cash I would have been very interested. The bank will carry that on your car even with the mileage. I know this as I completed the process yesterday at my bank.

Good advice actually. The Extreme would still be an eye-catcher, I still have yet to see even one on the roads around these parts.

If the Challenger is going to be locked down like our LX's are computer-wise, I 'm not sure I'm going to want it. After a year of ownership there still isn't hope for a real tune on the LX's, and I'm gonna want to really mod the Challenger.

That's ok, no matter what I replace it with... it'll be uniquely "me" no way around it.

PLEASE don't buy the Saleen. I've messed with a handful of them, and they really aren't anything that special, beyond the name and cool blower. If you want to go the Mustang route, you can buy a standard GT and build it to be WAY nicer, and dare I say, faster, than the Saleen.

Quick story - one dealership local to me was having to warranty a bunch of radios out of their recently sold Saleens. Turns out the radios were being fried by metal shavings... from the installers at Saleen drilling holes in the dash for the gauge pods, and not collecting the shavings. Just a little input about how quickly (and carelessly) those cars are thrown together... Don't even get me started on the Roush Mustangs.

And besides, the Jeep is WAY cooler.

It's funny, just last night a buddy of mine was telling me to get a GT and work it up. He says I could match the performance of the Extreme for about $20k less than the Extreme's $70k price tag by building up a GT how I want.

I may go that route.
