blx great big showing at the nationals

ok i got a couple suggestions for the nationals,i was wondering what you guys think of giving out the blx best of show magnum,charger,300 and challenger awards aside from what the nationals give out.we could get 4 trophies together.(new ones not old ones we pieced together)i think it would be nice since we are host,plus it might catch on and other clubs might start doing it.also we should figure out some bbq stuff for the show.we can do burgers dogs chips that kinda stuff...let me know what you guys think.if its a no thats fine just say it.im tryin to throw out some ideas to make it a great time.i read in a couple of post that some people wanted to get the whole blx there which could only mean one huge pic.which could be used for a banner.so a list would be in order.i know its early as hell but why not.its a good way to secure that all of us will make the arangements we need to.we might be able to win the best club participation award.post here and u'll be added....lets get some feedback

Count me in, I'll chip in $ for our club trophies,bbq, and any help needed. Maybe get a couple corn hole boards for fun. Its never to early to start talking about this gotta give us something to look forward to for next couple of months besides the cold an snow. This will be a great time for BLX to get together.

Trophies:
My personal opinion is to keep it to the event trophies. There were plenty to go around. If everybody leaves with a trophy, there's not much sense in having them to begin with.


Food:
I'm down as long as it is OK with the food vendors at the event. I like to support those who are there to support us when I can. Some places have policies about bringing in food. We need to get more info on any such policies before we go forward.

ok,im cool with the trophy thing not being done.it was just an idea.as far as all of these ideas i got a call into turbo to see what he thinks.well if the food thing is ok we can manage that pretty good.i had an idea today about doing some blx shirts,the shirts could all be the same color,so we all look like we are together.but we could have our screen names on the front.the blx logo could be on the back and pretty much take up the whole back.what do you guys thing of that idea ?? i dont think they would cost that much.it would all depend on who does it and what brand of tee shirts.well lets see who like the idea.and spread the word to everyone to get on and speak up.

t-hirts with pockets and drop your screen name could be done I'm speaking to a lady freind and she was saying between 50 to 100 shirts is a good starting point and I'll have some pricing figure xl & 2xl or do i need larger that was a question that was asked also. I'm there, but would rather let the vendors sell me food. They paid for that right so let them feed us!! I liked last year's food, quick and priced right.

AND for those of you who don't remember - I was running hot laps like it was going out of style & I barely had time for anything else. I will be there to race (and win ).

Trophies and awards should be the responsiblity of the promoters - not someone else. They promote - they award.
