Gonna try to Mexi but my weekends are pretty booked up till I get the parts,then Im gonna want to install em.It would be a great comparison though,maybe the day I get it installed Ill head to the track first.

I just went thru my timeslips again... my 13.388 was @ 105.00 mph... I'll update the first post. (and my sig) - May 30th, 2009 @ 6:40 pm...at Palm Beach International Raceway (aka Moroso) for those of you that want to look up the DA (corrected) numbers...

i dont know man, i loved the way the car sounded... didnt want to change it so i threw in a converter, got some really short sticky hoosiers. pulled the seats. waited for good DA. still couldnt 60ft the car below a 1.98 and realized that i was never gonna cut good times at the track with the cam. the SRT MAX is pretty similar to my cam now i think, at least duration wise, the lobes/ramps are probably a lot different. i wouldnt run it without at least a converter, it will not only get you out of the hole really well, but it will also make it idle a lot easier and tuning the idle will be a breeze, as well as let it idle at a lower rpm. you can grind a smaller cam to lope i was talking with Alex the other day about how he might consider grinding a smaller cam to lope. he and steve said they didnt really want to, because they grind their cams for power and performance before sound, but said it might be worth it to try and grind lope into a smaller cam to get the sound, but still keep the torque my new cam is still on the bigger side, and chops pretty decent, but its not crazy lopey... but it runs super strong thruout the whole powerband, so i cant complain. heres a vid clip of the idle if you want to check it out ![]() http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z1IvK5yNzMw thats idling around 680-700, when i get some more time with my tuner, i want to try and get it to idle at about 650, and im very confident it will. then she will really rumble aghhh, i cant wait til it gets cold, time to cut me some 12.1's!

it did, like i said.. cam only trap speed of 111 in -800 DA. lol
i just couldnt get over the fact that i dropped a couple thousand into my motor, and stock cars could eat me up out of the hole and i was playing catch up every single time. on the street, in traffic, i love ited, everybody was wondering what was chopping under that hood haha. but you have to give a little to get a little and having off idle power makes all the difference in the world when it comes to "fun factor", and im very pleased now. when it gets warm again i will be getting it set of for dope too

Is this for a CAM-ONLY?? Or did you have ALL the mods in your sig (as of 8/4/09)?? We're trying to compare cams and trap speeds, etc in cam only mods...(besides bolt-ons)

I'd like to throw my $.02 in on this. I'm running the stock cam & all my mods are in my sig. The only mod in my sig that was not on my car on this run was the CMR tune. My best time, to date, is 13.204 @ 105. I did take the back seat out & empty the trunk...carpet & all. I think that was a real good run for "bolt-on" mods only.
![]() Anyway, I just thought I'd throw that out there for comparison. Edit: Thanks to "HerDaytona", my car is running like a mean 'ol moster! All the mods that I have done were carefully planned out by him to get the "most bang for the buck".
