I take it you mean Nitrogen filled tires. The main reason they use Nitrogen is that it doesn't pressurize as much as air when it gets hot, In other wrods your pressure remains fairly consistant no matter how hot the tire gets; also due to the fact the Nitrogen molecules are larger it takes a larger pin hole/bead leak to have the tire de-pressurize.

i run it in mine. i like it. but if you get a flat you can put air in it. just have to get it redone afterwards.

You can fill it with propane and blow it up if you want to... it's not a different tire or wheel or anything else. They just fill w/ Nitrogen for the reasons outlined already. If you need to top it off or whatever, you can use air. You'll just lose some of the benefit of being 100% nitrogen.

I have had nitrogen in my tires since new.so i dont know before and after.it is supposed to help with constant tire pressure and better tire wear.it does not help a tire roll more freely.if u have a flat u can put air in it.just have them reserviced.all it does is take the air and separate the oxygen from the nirtogen and fills them.do not overthink it.supposedly help with fuel mileage b/c u are maintaining a contstant tire pressure.hope this helps.i would recommend it for kicks not for a major difference.

I had Nitrogen in my tires since new, it came with a road hazzard warranty for the tires and rims for a price. I got it mainly for the road hazzard portion at the time since the atmosphere is about 70% Nitrogen anyways couldn't see it making any real difference. I had a flat about six months later and had the tire repaired and filled with air until I could get the nitrogen replaced. I noticed that the tire pressure in that tire was more susceptible to change from heat while driving, so there must be some advantage even though I would have thought going in that it was just a gimmick. So this is just my spin on it, take it for what it's worth. If it's not too pricey might be worth while.

I believe just plain old air is already 70% Nitrogen. I would equate it to expensive bottled water vs tap water. Perhaps we should use C02 then we could get some Carbon credits. JK

The air we breathe is about 78% Nitrogen and 21% Oxygen. So 100% Nitrogen filled tires is only displacing about 22% of the other gases in the air. Supposed to help reduce tire expansion and contraction with temperature, but if it costs to get it done you might want to just go with conventional air.

Yeah, if it was possible to actually fill the tire 100% with nitrogen. Since you mount the tire in an oxygen/nitrogen environment, you'll still have some non-nitrogen gasses in the tire. Filling it (or topping it up) after the fact with an air hose won't cause you any grief
