Wishing you all the best! I just had my sixth heart surgery about a month ago! Not open heart just angieoplasty and stents! Open heart surgery is down the road from what they tell me!

So I'm here at Swedish awaiting the surgery Wed. AM. Pretty cool that they have such FAST WiFi here, so I'll be online a lot! Thanks much everyone for the kind words of encouragement & especially the prayers. It was a real surprise to me as well! I went into the E.R. when I had chest pain & light headedness a couple of weeks ago; after several tests I discovered I had a congenital heart valve that has caused my Aorta to swell to 5 times it's normal size! They will be replaceing the Aorta & the Valve with synthetic ones, and the survivability is extremely high & more than likely I'll live as long as I would have otherwise. While they're in there, I'm getting the big valve kit, ported & polished, & and ported throttle body...

I've had two open hearts and one other. You will be surprised at how quickly you will be up and about. I was up on my second day after the surgery. Out of the hospital after 6 days. I have to say though, that the coughing and laughing is the worst.

We can compare scars when you are done. lol
