Actually..on c-16..which is what Im running,12.5-12.6 is where it will make the best power on the edge of safety. I am running just above and at the 12.0 mark, peak 12.3 . My wideband setup is an AFM1000 with acalibrating o2 sensor, which is extremely accuarate and RIGHT. On the street with a Fast dual channel wide band, the car is seeing 11.5-11.9...which is the basic bosch style wideband everyone else uses.Although I know the fast isnt 100 percent accurate, I know how far off it is ,and use it for reference. Every tuner has an opinion, and their way of doing things. I attached a blown up graph of the air fuel. Im currently running. New goal for the car...9.99 on a stock Challenger with just the Kenne Bell

Irwindale last night 1/8th drags
Ran the car last night...and I was very pleased...I couldnt get the smile off my face.. .The KB powerplant was working this Hemi ...
First pass 6.88@103.1 1.61 60' leaving at and idle rolling into the throttle. Second pass 6.74@103.6 1.54 60' leaving at idle punching the throttle Third pass 6.72@103.8 1.52 60' leaving at 1200 rpm pushing my foot through the firewall... Car has all stock suspension on a MnH drag radial. If the damn trans would have been shifting correctly, a low 6.x would have ben there... Going to Cams now to get a valve body and a spare trans...Looking for a 10.4x tonight. Got video of all the passes..Ill get them up later today... |

The Kenne Bell supercharger definitely impresses me. Those are some very nice numbers. Especially on a stock bottom end. Almost has me rethinking my nitrous set up.

Is there anything different about the 09 srt pistons that might allow a higher boost tolerance? Just wondering if the longevity of this build will say anything about older srts ability to run higher boost with the KB and the proper tune.
thx

not my impression...
I don't feel that they give the Challenger as much "racing" respect because stock for stock, there is no comparison between the Chally and the GT500. It is even heavier than the portly GT500. It is SOOO easy to build a 1000 hp GT500 because of the factory forged internals, lower compression, factory setup for supercharger, etc. Anyway, this is one S197 and GT500 owner who enjoys the heck out of both of them! I can't wait for my KB-blown Chally convertible to start putting some stock GT500's around here in their place, though...

This was KB's answer to my:
Your S/C looks like a perfect match for my new SRT8 Charger with only hi-flow exhaust added. I hope to see one of our superchargers on your new SRT8 Charger! Just keep in mind we only have the kit ready for the Challengers at this time. We are confident the kit will fit all car 2005 - up 5.7/6.1 engines, but small things like the instructions, tuning, heat exchanger locations, things like that will have to be addressed before we can ship kits for Chargers. Minor logistics. Regards, Ken

The kit might be for Challengers only right now b/c of the canned tune KB provides w/ a lot of their kits....? I thought I read on here that the PCMs are not the same for the Chally. I'm sure if you bought the kit w/o predator, it would work fine for any of the SRTs....with your own tune obviously.
