Stock Conti tires vs Pirelli

My tires are bald and I found some Pirelli tires at a great price, I want to know if they are much better than the Continentals the Magnum R/T comes with?

Each brand has good and bad tires, you need to be specific about the model and size. Have you tried searching the existing messages yet? With over 100,000 messages, the answer may be their already.

If you thought the Conti's wore out fast don't buy the Pirelli's. They usually wear rather fast but that also depends on how you drive on them and maintain them.

Pirelli P6's wore out fast on my RT. Became loud as they wore. Can't think of much to recommend them except cheap and no worse than Contis. I like my BFG KDWS much better , but they are starting to get loud with 15k mi. Wear is about 2 or 3 times Contis with BFG's. Was very disapointed with P6's.

They are the Pirelli P6. The thing is, this tire size is so hard to find, I checked so many places (not dealerships).

In Europe the 300 Touring (Magnum with a 300 front clip) and all of the 300 on 18" wheels come with Pirelli P7.
They seem to be a pretty good tire and are available in the right size.

The P6 is a decent tire but there are far better ones if you are willing to go with a slightly different tire size.
