My New Flashtech LED Halos!!!
Let me first say….these Flashtech rings are bad ass!
I’ve had Focuztech halos in the ride for a couple of years now. The rings never broke but I did have a problem with low lighting in two of the rings when the car was off. It didn’t really bother me but I couldn’t show them off unless I had the car on which kinda sucked. I do have to say though….compared to other halos, the Focuztech ones matched the oem circles in the headlights very well. They just weren’t that bright compared to AAC ones. I’ve only installed two sets of AAC halos in other cars and they were nice and bright but they didn’t match the circles that well. I have not had any problems with the AAC inverters in those two cars but I’ve heard about the problems. Anyways…when I first saw the pictures of the LED halos, I knew I had to have them. Then I was torn between AAC and Flashtech. I personally like the full circle look so I decided to holla at Flashtech to get more info. After talking to Steve about the products, I knew I wanted them. He sent them out and within a few days I had them in my hands. These things are made very well. They are 100x easier to handle when compared to ccfl tubes. They cover/match the oem circles perfectly. I love how the circles are cut off at the top to sit against the oem plastic and I really love the wires only being on one end. Dealing with these are a piece of cake compared to other installs. They are really durable since they are mounted on a board similar to a computer motherboard. Nice and sturdy. Since there are only two wires to connect, you can pretty much hook them up to whatever you’d like. I personally don’t like my aftermarket lighting hooked directly up to any oem sockets/wires because of excess loads... I have these hooked up on a separate relay/harness along with my other headlight LED’s. After getting them installed the first thing I noticed was how bright these damn things are. They are extremely bright and white. Even though each ring has 130 led’s…standing back about 2-3 feet, they form a perfect circle. You can still sorda see that the circles are sectioned off 130 times which is pretty cool as it gives it a high tech look. When the lights are off you can see the entire board with all the LED’s. The overall color looks a little yellow but its not bright yellow. Again..it gives it a high tech look. Well I think I’ve written enough. I’d like to write more but most of you would just like to see the pictures…..so here they are. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

look good. they appear to be a similar led used by the radiantz flex led's but the board flexes laterally allowing to the be a circle. nice and bright!
How sensitve are these led's to moisture? the radiantz ones are very sensitive. condensation moisture is enough to eventually take out some individual radiantz leds unless they are in a weatherproof tube INSIDE the headlight.
