Cool Just have to vent.

I am sick and tired of searching for wheels, I have found 4 styles that I love and are listed as correct for the Magnum and each and every time the bolt pattern is 5 x 114.3 or the offset is not right, and of course it takes 3 phone calls and numerous emails to get this info. When looking at various places web sites and using the "search by vehicle" they never list the bolt pattern or offset, you always have to email or call. I've never had a harder time trying to spend $2000+. I'm not done searching, just frustrated. Is there any places that will list the required info with out having to call or email? I just want a nice set of polished or chrome wheels for my ride. I want to have a few options in tire and wheel size to choose from, I dont think thats asking for much.

I feel tour pain, it took a year to get wheels for my car that fit. I still have a set to sell that has the incorrect offset. But don't give up there will be a bright side. After getting ripped off by an internet seller (discounted wheel warehouse) I went to a local shop and got wheels that loo better than any I have seen, fit the car and were an awsome price ($1000 total). I used the tires from the rip off company which actually were sold at a good price, and the local shop was so cool they are going to let me sell the wheels that don't fit out of their shop and they are going to figure out what they do fit and they aren't going to charge me anything. So long story short I ended up with better wheels and a totally bitchin local shop to deal with, so don't give up you'll get it right when it's meant to be!

I'm really hoping that the increasing number of chargers and 300s will cause more wheels to be available in 18"

Not sure what style your looking for but here's the 20" I went with.

This pic is of the wheel in "Super Finish"

I ordered mine with the Chrome finish.

Tmagnum, great looking wheels. I'm looking for 18 or 19" size, though might go 20" if I can get somebody near me to give me a ride so I can see what the 20" does to ride quality. I want a wheel that is chrome and some type of 5 spoke, just like yours! I also want to run staggered, with 285 or 295 in the rear.

I prefer 5 spoke wheels. Those are sort of 10 spoke (split 5 spoke), but I still like them.

After getting ripped off by an internet seller (discounted wheel warehouse)

funny you should mention them, i also had a VERY BAD EXPERIENCE with discount wheel warehouse! i spent three months trying to get it fixed. their customer service SUCKS, and the manager actually resorted to profanity, name calling and hanging up! i've had to settle with what i have. i love the rims, but hate the ride! because of the offset and design, they will never balance properly. they are tolerable thanks to many hours of hard work by the guys a t Mr. Tire but maybe in the future i will go with 20's instead of 18's mainly because of these problems.apparently the 20's in the same rim do not have any issues.

I went through the exact same process.

About the second or third time I finally managed to find a wheel in a style I liked, that had the right bolt pattern & offset, at a price I was willing to pay... only to find that they were completely out of stock (or worse yet, not even available yet), without even a prospective ship date, I finally just gave up on buying 'off-the-rack', and went for custom rims.

Once I did more research, I managed to find Boyd Coddington Wheels (yeah, the same rather annoying little man from the show American Hot Rod on the Discovery channel). These turned out to be much cheaper than I thought they would and I managed to get my set of 4 Smoothie IIs for $1,500, though they have since gone up in price. I actually went through a local tire shop, but I think he got them from the shop I found online at this link.

Since they 'don't make em till you order them', you can have them made with any bolt pattern and offset (a great thing for all you AWD owners out there), and could even specify a staggered set.

The only real downside that I found to buying custom Boyd Coddington rims, is that they take 4-8 weeks, and the anticipation can drive you nuts!!! (if you are as impatient as I am!)

Hope this helps...

Great price on Boyds. I went the extra expense and had a set of ChromeTorgue Thrust 20s built to specs by American Racing and the Nitto 420s tires are at the height of stock. The Nittos are better in wet versus the Conti junk. Just lowered it with Eibach and its right.
