When I changed cams and got rid of MDS it was a godsend, didn't really loose alot of gas milage actually with the heads and cam the car ran more efficient and the milage really didn't change.
But I hated when MDS kicked in with that sickening ricer sound, when I had passengers I kept it in autostick cause it was embarrassing when MDS came on Maybe I just noticed it more cause of the headers and catback

i hear ya,
i disabled MDS as soon as you could with the predator, even before the cam with the cam i got rid of the lifters, so it will never be back either lol

I do plan on giving up the MDS. As a matter of fact, I will be talking with Andy in the morning and it looks like I am going to pony up and go full cam and stage II heads. Probably have done by next week. Thanks again for all the feedback. Time to take my girl to another level.

The cam is a 214/222 on a 114LSA. I will indeed follow up once the install is done and post the track numbers and vid.
