I believe that was the best "timed" LX lap of the event. Should be a football in store for you buddy, congrats. Of course we are not going to allow the 1.20 lap by the pro driver in the Arrington 300C. Still taking the whole day in, not sure where to begin........... Great great great..

Great Pics !
Actually got one of me YEA! and someone wasnt passing me for a change Lol ![]() I was happy to see a :29 after logging very consistant 34's 35's When Duncan posted his 33's with his slicks I was kind proud of that 29 number then doug goes and crushed me with the .28. Then Duncan got a ride a long and the pro driver posted a sick number of :23 and duncan then rolled out the :27 And CONGRATS To him and the football he will be getting. Will was trying damn hard for his and was outting up some AWSOME times ( if his timer was working ) but it seems his front INSIDE pads we by by and he had a small off road incursion. I started to play with shift points and 2nd gear in two turns and it had a huge effect on my lap time. Problem was I had a Z06 ( Great guy ) and a Red GT3 that were just freakish fast ( slipping .18's from what I heard ) so I had quite a few laps of pointing people buy. I had a great day, I didn't break anything and the event went about as flawless as one could hope ! Thanks guys ! -Robert Last edited by RobAGD; 03-31-2009 at 02:21 AM. |

Looked like it was a blast, it was nice to come out for an hour and see how everyone was doing. I was amazed by that z06 was it a turbo? Had some fun of my own leaving the track ( there is nothing for miles) great to see everyone and glad a good time was had by all. Now I gotta get me some suspension tweaks and tires! It looked like too much fun to pass up next time.

Its a matter of being polite and honestly, the vettes and GT3's exit speeds were crazy, but if I really wanted to I could have made it really hard for them.
The vette was mostly stock w/ slicks In the hands of a very good driver. John was awsome about the point bys, never got a chance to talk to the gt3 guy.Tires and proper brakes and I may see a low 20 with me at the wheel. -Robert

If you weren't there man you missed out some great racing! Will and Junior were having fun going at it most of the day, turning on their turn signals on the straight and passing other cars like it was the turnpike.
but the best moment of the day, Will was pushing 140 down into turn 1. Junior couldn't live it up and while we were up in the control room we saw Junior hauling some serious 4000lb 426 Jeep power down the straight and wasn't letting off. 4 ,3, 2 finally started to brake and flew off the track probably doing 100 into the dirt. LOL He was black flagged for the 50th time, pulled in the pits and was simply told "your brake is on fire" LMAO SRT, THEY BUILD THEM WELL! Jeeps can be driven on the track and the dirt. ![]() ![]() --RS
