Feeler: Dyno Tested, True Dual System for V6's....under $500
Wanted to see if folks would be interested in a true dual exhaust for the 3.5L V6 (base design is for a Magnum) where you don't lose all your back pressure for under $500.
A local shop and I were kicking around some things over lunch and this came up. Rich |

I'll ask for everyone else.
How does it sound? What numbers did you get on the dyno? Post the sheet. Is it press-bent or mandrel bent? Stainless? What size pipes? Got any videos? Anyone else?

Sorry. Didn't remember posting on LX. This project is dead. It came in just shy of $900 for an all stainless system. With my CAI, it made 18 RWHP and I can't remember off the top of my head the torque numbers. Sound is great.
![]() ![]() ![]() The parts and pieces are just from the exhaust manifolds/cat's, run 2.25" pipe to an X-pipe before the location of the resonator. In that cavity (about where the rear seats are) line the driver's side with some heat shield. 2 - Flowmaster 44's and the 2.25" stainless all the way back to 3" tips. The labor is the part that drove the cost up and why it's tough to keep up with the likes of Dynomax, Flowmaster, Magnaflow, etc. Rich |

well it sounds pretty impressive for a v6!
my buddy has 2.25 exhaust on his ride with borlas on it. the borlas are 2.5 in/out with riders on them and his ride sounds awesome also. 2.25 standard crush pipe is the way to go for our rides i think to create the most optimum performance as sometimes the 2.5 pipes that are mandrel bent allow to much back pressure loss because they are so free flowing. if this guy made up stainless kits for a few hundred less then it might be a good sell for him. everyone understands that they have to pay for installation unless they have technical knowledge enough to do it themselves at home and even still you need the right equipment to make sure you can do the job properly. i think you did a great job with your maggie and 18rwhp is a fantastic gain. |

I had a dual magnaflow system on my v6 300 that I got for around $700. It was stainless and came with dual resonators and quad tips. Sounded pretty good!
