100 miles till dealer warranty expires...

...and wanting to know if anyone can give me more insight on a few problems before I take it to the dealer.

Firstly, I have to make a sharp left turn to get out of the driveway. (I back up into it) Well every time I make that sharp left turn, I hear a creaking noise coming from the driver side wheel well. I took it to the dealer, and they lubed it up or something (as per a TSB), and it has not fixed the problem.

Take into account I have the SRT wheels and BT 3mm spacer.

Secondly, when the AC is on...mainly on hot summer days, but the issue still randomly occurs. When stopped, the car would start to make a low bass humming sound. I spoke with Nick, and he had me try a few things. If in park or stopped while holding down the brakes, the noise would persist, but if the AC is turned off, the noise would go away. Also if the car is switched in neutral, it would go away. Also the noise does not occur when driving.

Is there anything else I should be checking before the warranty dies out.

Check front tension struts,front inner and outer tie rods,computer updates ask for a/c to be checked for leaks.better to check now than later

Carefully with your request for service, a warranty isn't justification for bringing you car to the dealer for 100,001 point inspection. If they do happen to entertain the idea make sure you get in writing that it's a no charge inspection, otherwise you may get a bill.

I would recommend pulling wheels, crawling around the underside of your car, ect. and doing your own inspection prior to your warranty expiring--no one loves your car more than you and you'd be suprised on what a tech. might overlook.

Wow.......Im 1000 miles away from the end of my dealer warranty and im having the EXACT same creaking/deep toned squeak noise your talking about when I turn the wheel hard more then half way on either side (but does it more to the left).......need to find out what it is

Haha, I know what you mean. I've spoken to them about the 2 issues. 1 of which they could not replicate. But I totally understand what you mean. Thanks
