Really, I'm good either way. It has been awhile since I've run off a Pro tree so I'm sure I'm a little rusty. I'm really looking forward to this event. It sounds like a lot of fun. I know I'll definitely be outclassed, but it'll be fun to run head to head with the big boys. |

I don't have the Sportsman Tree figured out yet and you're talking Pro Tree?
I'll do whatever the majority wants but I'd vote to keep it a Sportsman Tree.

I'm willing to opine that a sportsman tree is what most of us are familiar with and that's the direction I'm leaning.
Also, the "something for everybody" category is met by recognition/prizes/possibly points for running a verifiable PB. |

OK..Here's how this thing is shaping up...
We're going to have the four classes:
5.7-based N/A 5.7-based power adder (any combo of: turbo, nitrous, supercharger, fumoto valve, etc.) 6.1-based N/A 6.1-based power adder We are going to award series points and trophies to the top three in each class. That means 12 of 50 racers will be awarded a trophy, series points and vendor goodies of some type. Anyone with a verifiable personal best (PB) will be recognized with a prize and possibly some series points. We are going to use a sportsman tree (3 descending yellows to a green with .000 being a perfect RT). At PBIR we are going to have 2 hours of practice, 2 hours of qualifying and 2 hours of eliminations. If we get done early, we'll leave the track open for informal heads-up racing until midnight. We'll have award presentations beginning at midnight. BuilderBill would like to establish a 4-5 venue series. The PBIR event will be the first event of the season. ATCO will be the final event in November. In between Bill will host an event, probably at VIR in early May. The LX & Beyond Nationals may be accomodating to our four classes to piggy-back on their event in July. We haven't decided on an event for late August or early September. Series point winners will be recognized with trophies, vendor goodies & major bragging rights, along with the love and respect of the GEN III Hemi community of racers. I think we are headed in a nice direction here. |

Lookin good Lou, thanks.
Are you still going to have this as open or close to a track rental? I love having the opportunity to run the poop out of the car in an effort to achieve personal bests and test out different combos. Looks like its really likely Ill be there and my dad will accompany me in his SRT Chally.

First two hours are open T&T, then qualifying, then eliminations, then open heads-up after eliminations are complete until midnight. |

I'm a little confused. I know. I know. Its happened before. Are we just giving the cars with the three best ET's in each class points or are we qualifying and then running heads up based on a ladder system where we qualified?

damn at first i thought this was for PBIRs road course. I'm still down to race tho, only a few minutes from my house and i could always use more practice.
