Yep, here is what I wrote on my "home" site:
******************************* Went to the normal scheduled TNT on Friday night at FAMOSO, racing from 8pm to 12 midnight. I was going to go heads up with Trojan, the quickest Challenger in the country at around 10:00pm. But as luck would have it, they had all lanes except 1 closed on the 5 freeway north out of Los Angeles to Bakersfield in Castaic. SO, none of us got to go heads up during the normal TNT (when they had two lanes). BUT--we had already rented the track for a private session AFTER the TNT for some racing between 12:30am to 3:30am. This is a video I put together of some of those races. Too bad to as Trojan's best was a 10.33 and my best was a 10.31---it would have been really close and who knows who would have won. Trojans car did also run a 10.19 with the tuning guru at the wheel though. Even though the humidity was keeping everyone about 1/10th slower then normal, it was still a great time---anytime you have the track to only 15 cars your going to have lots of racing. Here is the video: http://videos.streetfire.net/video/F...-LX_702976.htm I ended up running close to my personal best at a 10.31 vs my all time best of 10.27, so I was close. Ken ran into the 9s twice, and there was a Chrysler 300 running 11.40s--a Nova running mid 8s, etc. even with the +3000 DA (because of the humidity) So my best 3 of the 7 runs were as follows: 10.317 @ 132.45 with a 1.489 60' and a 6.608 @ 105.69 1/8th (-.015 RT) 10.346 @ 132.78 with a 1.505 60' and a 6.637 @ 105.46 1/8th (-.009 RT) 10.392 @ 132.86 with a 1.504 60' and a 6.685 @ 105.75 1/8th (.113 RT) ******************************** Hopefully you guys have more footage----there was a guy with a "Shake and Bake" shirt on at a perfect spot by the 60' mark shooting and then I saw Mighty Noid I believe behind the burnout box with a camera on a tripod that KEN almost took out......you have to watch us mustang guys every second..... __________________

Someone tell Ryan to look at 3:14-3:15 really close--you can see something leaking onto the track under the car by the front tire---I was thinking is was condensation at first because of the N20 spray bar for the H/E, but its alot. Don't know....

Very cool Paul, thnx. Well that was a good time and I'm still not back to normal. Thanks for setting it up Chris!. It gave me a good chance to go backwards and find out why my car fell on it's face at Ohio. And after all the experiments at Famoso, I'm pretty convinced she's hurt. I think it's time to come play with you guys in the 10's. I'm done with the NA stuff now.

Thanks again for setting this up Chris we had a blast.
Last time we ran the Nova at 3am was about 20 years ago and it wasn't at a track. It was great to meet Adam.Bro I wish I had your energy just watching you run from car to car made me tired. Noid good meeting you also,I still have this mental image of you standing with the tripod disappearing into a cloud of burnout smoke. And speaking of smokey burnouts.....Thanks Bryce ![]() Sorry if I left anyone out their were a lot of new faces and it's all still a little cloudy. We ran OK no PB first 2 passes were identical 8.837 third was an 8.81@153+. Track seemed alright but we couldn't quite get a hold of it.Our best 60' was a 1.30 flat thats about .05 off of average. Cam it's time sir. Bob
