    3/8 Diameter Drop In Pushrods For All Gen 3 Hemi Platform

    The industries first, Gen 3 Hemi Performance 3/8 diameter "Drop In" pushrods are here to unlock new potential in your engine.

    These 3/8 diameter late model Hemi performance pushrods offer increased column strength, higher harmonic frequency & less ability for deflection. This has been made possible with the design of a special extension tip on the rocker arm side of the pushrod. This tip design was originally designed for use in NASCAR and creates the additional clearance required to fit a 3/8 diameter tube through cylinder head, up to .750 lift. Increasing the tube diameter to 3/8, provides 2 times to loading capacity of a 5/16 diameter before deflection begins to occur. The increase in strength will provide more accurate valve timing and additional valve train stability that is greatly needed. In addition, the increase in diameter will provide the added benefit of keeping the pushrod closer to the port of the cylinder head, which will support the pushrod in the event of deflection occurring. We offer various wall thickness' in our 3/8 diameter tubing ;available .058, .095, .120 & .145, depending on application. Today's engines require higher strength pushrods due to the rising valve spring pressures, RPM and Lift that have become a standard to achieve performance goals.

    At Manton ,we strive for the best, so we couldn't stop here. For forced induction and nitrous applications, where valve timing is much more critical, we offer a Series 5 tubing. This tubing features our proprietary salt heat treatment process'. Which allows us to raise the tensel strength of the chromoly from 170,000 Psi in our series 3, upto 275,000 Psi in our Series 5.

    All of our Gen 3 Hemi 3/8 drop in pushrods come standard with Billet 8620 Steel tip ends in both ends. This allows us to heat treat the tips to approx. 60 Rockwell "C". While keeping the chromoly tubing at approx. 46 Rockwell "C", this hardness allows he tubing to be very stiff without becoming brittle.

    The 3/8 diameter drop in upgrade is designed to directly replace the 5/16 Diameter OEM pushrods, requiring no modifications to be made to the cylinder head.

    Curious whether it has been confirmed these units will fit within the confines of the OEM head access ports along with the OEM means of rocker alignment play...without rubbing.

    Yes, Adam from Spankin Time, Mike from EMP New york , Denis* Oncafe at southland Dodge , Kevin Helms, josh at HHP have all* used these 3/8 Drop ins and have confirmed no modifications were required to upgrade.

    We currently have over 100 sets in use and been used for years in Keith Lynch's NHRA National Performers Stock Automatic Championship challenger.

    We have confirmed a maximum OD of .400 will fit within the pushrods port hole of the cylinder head in a DRAG PAK , these .400 diameter pushrods must be ground down from a 7/16 diameter heavy wall tubing and are very costly to manufacture, this is why we opted for the .375 diameter tubing to create a cost effective upgrade.

    best pushrods money can buy right here. I run these on my 462 and had no issues with rubbing at all using stock rockers. They have a nice taper at the top that gives a good amount of relief that other off the shelf pushrods don't have.
    462 aluminum motor,thitek heads, hogan sheet metal intake, kenne bell 168mm tbody,kooks lt,paramount 8.8 , ost spec'd pro torque 4200 converter, shr war Viking from ost,tuned by mike at ost, Ost tuned tcm, nitrous outlet direct port
