For all those 300 owners who have waited so patiently for a ProCharger, the WAIT is over!!! :pepper:

Our 300 sitting proud. http://www.procharger.com/6.4_300.shtml

New vid of a simple mod res delete which amazingly sounds good!
along with initial delete vid

And recent video of P-1SC-1 running sounds! Very subdued at idle!

As to the thermostat, A Jet 180degree. Fan settings at 184 LS and 194 HS for now with the higher outside temps here.

As to the catch can, which is off for now. A new mount bracket will need to be made to clear the overflow res. yet.

A/F, Boost and Fuel Pressure gauges are A-pillar mounted. All digital AutoMeter. Came out looking great!

As to tires, I am back to Michelin Pilot Super Sports 255-45-20 all around. We shall see if they contain "The Beast" at least some what! :)

Back in later December of 2013 while speaking with Walt Sipp from ProCharger about future products, he asked about my ride. I told him about my severe addiction to MOPAR, especially SRT's! He then inquired if I would be interested in a Factory Beta test program as they were looking for a 2012 Chrysler 300 SRT8 to finalize their line of products for Mopar to date. After thinking about this offer for a day, my wife and I decided to trust them with our pride and joy! All paper work was sent to us on 12-31-2013 and the agreement was signed and returned. On 01-17-2014 ProCharger received our ride and began the engineering process. First dyno to establish base-line produced 439rwhp. I was amazed that it was higher than I really thought, but not shocked as most do 425 to 440rwhp stock after approx. 15,000 run miles and it had a simple K&N drop-in filter. As the weeks of my anxiety went by and only one small fitment issue they had(inner fender mount area for OEM air box) our ride was completed on 04-07-2013, with 578rwhp at 7.3psi of boost!

Now I couldn't pick it up immediately due to a conflict with our schedule. YES, I am now really excited because their done and I am not ready to go! lol-lol On 04-13-2014 we made it to ProCharger World Campus in Lenexa, Ks. and Jason Medlin, Technical Manager at ProCharger was extremely gracious to meet with us on a SUNDAY to deliver our vehicle to us!

This is one business that in my humble experience treat their Customers like GOLD! Bravo Jason, Walt, their TEAM and even Ken Jones-CEO of ProCharger, called me personally to chat about our ride. They were GREAT to work with and very Professional with the entire process!

Also a sincere THANKS to DiabloSport for coming to ProCharger to be directly involved in the tuning process with ProCharger tuning engineers! Thanks Again to ALL!

Some basic spec's: My air intake temp. ran only max of 8 degrees above ambient which is far better than my Mopar CAI (usually 11 to 14 degrees) would run!!! The myth of the air intake above the header area under hood is totally FALSE with the massive air to air intercooler!

For me personally, this was a far better choice for Forced Induction! My good buddy has a Kenne Bell 2.8LC on his 2011 Challenger SRT8 6-speed and from my personally driving his BEAST it hits immediately, hauls Arsche and truly is Amazing also! :) Now as time go's on, I will report ANY numbers I collect to help prove this product.

If any are interested? Go to their web site and review the latest blog news about a Chevy truck turning 230,000 miles with a ProCharger installed at 1300 miles on the Odo! Simply Amazing!!!

Bottom line now is, How long before I WANT more??????? LOL-LOL :)
Our classy machine is now an "ALL BUSINESS MACHINE" A 578rwhp Business Machine !!!

Hell Yeah it's a Hemi and one mean Beast in Lamb's clothing!!! :not_worth

Congrats!

My 392 Challenger was the car they used to prototype the system for the 392. It was great to deal with Jason.

After kicking my cars arse and many upgrades, they are amazing at customer service and support.

Great choice going with ProCharger.

Thanks Goehner!! I am glad I am among friends!! What was your initial numbers when first S/C'd?

Auto or 6-speed?

Everyone knows the mountain is there! The question is: Should one just stand at the base and look up?--------Or truly satisfy themselves and CLIMB it to the TOP!!! :)

You are Very Welcome!! It truly was our pleasure to deal with "ALL" the Extremely Professional individuals at ProCharger! :pepper:

An E63? Think that would even be a challenge??? Or give them 4 car lengths and 4 seconds head start!!! lol-lol

That is awesome, I have a red headed 300 I'm guessing as two different dyno runs show at 390.

The 6.1's are an honest 390 to 400 stock The 6.4L much different story.

How Long?? Until it breaks! :) How much power? I have 578RWHP and apprx. 523rwtrq now. At 600rwhp x 600rwtrq will surely start to stress out an OEM system. 700x700 in the wrong hands will BREAK it!

Glad to c those numbers

What fuel do u use to get that number?

Do u installed any bolt on parts?

Many are glad to see those numbers! :pepper:

91 pure pump gas(NO ethanol)

A catch can and a set of 3" Blastin Bob's res delete. :thumbs_u:

Dudes... the bar has been raised. This is what a stock bottom 6.4 does... no boltons other than the supercharger. Pump gas.

Unfortunately it makes so much power that you are near the edge for everything in the drivetrain (tranny, shaft, gears, and axles).

srt8-in-largo is right on! Per ProCharger, P-1SC-1 max boost is 32psi. Approx. 825hp. With that said, about 5 mins of run time before---Dar She Blows!!! :panic:

Thanks for this write up and being the first. I have been looking at this set up because my intake is airbrushed and I want to keep it. Now that you have led the way, I will follow this winter, just in time for SF10. Thanks again

Thanks!! But I am not the absolute first. There are a few that went the way of Kenne Bell and Edelbrock. But this is the FIRST Factory P-1SC-1 H.O. unit for a 2012-2014 300 SRT8. There is a Gentleman in Toronto that did a tuners kit first with a 2012 300 SRT8 back in later 2013, but I have not been kept abreast of his results.

Bottom line: I am truly enjoying this ProCharger and DO encourage any to at least check them out! :)

To find a dealer/installer in your area, do a zip code search on the ProCharger web site. Or call them for further assistance.

At cruise it is extremely mild on the exhaust note, with a slight mild growl with the ECO mode on. So much so my rear passengers do not know it is modified until I go WOT. :)

As being a Beta Test Unit, here is my recent report to ProCharger for a 1,000 mile test I just completed. In this world of GO-FAST, I am very HAPPY. ProCharger is very pleased with the results! Now to get it to the track to continue my adventure! :)

1st Absolute cold start up to fully warm

2nd All windows up, doors closed and almost DEAD quiet at 700 rpm!!! :)

3rd

4th

5th

6th and final Sounds Great for just a resonator delete. :) :)

Those are some great HP returns - If its not a rude question...can you provide a ballpark on how much your purchase tuning and install exercise cost from go to whoa.

There are NO rude questions from any Gear-Head any where in the World!!! :) All we want to do is GO-FAST and have Fun!!! As to cost? Please contact a local rep in your area for a complete pricing on the unit you seek and tuning costs involved. That way you will have a very close $$ amount to your intentions.

Update as promised: As of the last dyno in Sept. 2014 with 22,074 miles on the odometer, we are now at 580rwhp with the identical set-up as tuned. :) :) Truly consistent and reliable!!!! This spring more change by adding the Magnaflow 15069 3" exhaust, go to NGK 5107 (from NGK 6510) plugs gapped to .039, go to a 3.0" pulley(from 3.2") on the blower, and from 203 degree thermostat to a 190 degree or 180 degree thermostats to get a wee bit better sound with-out losing low end torque. Baby steps are always the safest way to approach change.

If I keep this ride? D-1 upgrade will be next. :)

For me personally, this was a GREAT decision to go with Procharger!!!!

#39 ·
I do not plan on tracking this ride just yet! Way to easy to put it into a wall!!! LOL-LOL :) Under controlled conditions(on the dyno-Super Flow ) it ran 0 to 173 in a tad under 17 seconds. Fast enough for me! :) Just knowing it's potential numbers is enough proof for me personally to respect this ride even more!

#40 ·
It hasn't gone "BOOM" in over 4,000 miles, and I highly doubt it will in it's current configuration! I have intimate working knowledge that it won't. But IF I decide to go to the D-1SC and 15psi? I definitely will heed your advice. :)

Change to a 6.1 intake manifold and some 2618 mahle pistons and your set. Even turn the boost up to 10 psi.

Not trying to be a dick Teo, just giving you a heads up
Thanks for the Heads-Up! :thumbs_u:
