Bought a transmission dipstick today M 7226. Can't figure out how to read it. There's a 25 degree and 80 degree points on it. How do I use this comparing it to the fill chart? 80mm is past the pastic part of the dipstick

The markings at the end of the dipstick aren't degrees - they are markings in mm (millimeters).
You need to get the level reading from the dipstick, then use a laser thermometer to see the temp of the oil.
Then you take these two figures and compare them to a chart for transmission oil level to see if your tranny has the corresct amount of oil.

Bought the Assenmacher M-7226 722.6 Trans Dipstick. Suppose to be comparable to MB #140 589 15 21 00. The indicator is different than the one in the picture.
drive the car until fluid is hot...................20 miles lets say...................level should be in the range for 80 degrees celcius.
