What would I gain by porting my throttle body?

Is there a big difference in the gain I will get in my 3.5 V6? Do millimeters really make that much of a difference in the throttle body?

I found mid-range to benefit the most, and with headers, I think is the best combination. Not much for bottom end though. Still worth it makes highway cruising a real blast!

Unless modern muscle is doing it differently the one we got was done by ryan Walsh,( he doesn't do it any more), but his dunk results were 5 hp on the throttle body porting and around 7-10 with the lower intake manifold. He was getting between 15-17 with both combined.

Hey I found a lower intake for $75 plus shipping. Is this a reasonable price?

Not sure what he does but we use our own CNC Program for porting

On a V6 we port it out to 71mm on the V8s you have a choice 85mm or 87mm.
