Hello.
Installed Bosh ICON wiper blades few days ago and today was first time I used them.
The first few wipes were fine and then after that I get the noisy flip from the driver side.
Just when I thought to my self... cool, no more of the flip noise not a moment later it came back.
murphy law?
The passenger side seems okay, it's the driver side that's noisy.
I just installed Bosch Icons on two of my vehicles, and I haven't had any issues yet. The only thing I've noticed on one set is, they seemed to be a little oversized and touch each other at the bottom of the windshield. I've used RainX in the past, and imo it seems to give the wipers a smoother surface to run across and lessens any noise. Just my opinion though.
Just came back from a very rainy 600 mile trip in my wife's LR3 with Bosch Icons and I can't stand them. When they change direction, there is a loud noise when they flip. It drove me crazy.
I've been putting Valeo's on my car for years, and they are awesome (and they are on sale now).

Take a cloth & soak it in rubbing alcohol - then saturate your wiper blades rubber window strip with it & that should assist with the wipers.
However, you can try this as well http://www.aquapel.com/ Rain-X has nothing on this product & no wipers required when driving on the highway at all & local driving as well.
To make sure tho, Ide haft to do an inspection from inside the car.
