Can anyone explain why there's a 10HP difference between the R/T and Daytona??
Hi flow exhaust on the Daytona and R/T with Road & Track package. I think the air box might be different also.
From what i have gathered its the air box design so when its swapped out for a CAI both models are back on the same hp levels. In fact that is why allot of guys run the SRT or Daytona or Road and track package airbox with a drop in instead of a CAI. At least that was the story for the 08 and previous models. I havent kept up with any other additional changes.

Idealy yes it should increase read the mod face off threads they test a bunch of CAI on the dyno so you can see the actual gains between each CAI and which ones cause decreases
Don't. Daytonas also have nicer gearing 3.06s?

The 09's have 368 & 378 horsepower.

Wifeys 07 Plum Daytona still has stock muffler in place. Listed as Hi Performance Exhaust on window sticker. Last time out at the track on the stock long block with bolt ons it ran 13.01 @ 105.95.

So what's the difference between the daytona and road & track?
I believe the only difference between the Road and Track and the Daytona is the Numbered car system.
