    Here it comes......Arrington All Aluminum 449 HEMI























    Ok so here's the plan. As you all (or most) know, our very own AJ Berge A.K.A hemituner is doing it again for his personal record setting car:

    All ALL ALUMINUM NATURALLY ASPIRATED 449 HEMI
    Arrington Engines HEMI Roller Tip Rockers (Available soon!)
    Mahle Pistons
    Manley Crank
    Manley Pro Series I-Beam Connecting Rods
    4.1?? Bore and 4.??? Stroke (Can't tell ya everything ;-))

    What will the motor weight when all assembled. Maybe I'll skip the 528 hemi from Indy for my 69 and run modern motors.

    Aluminum engine is approx 90-100lbs less than the steel based. Taking a stab at saying steel based is around 575-600.

    I am not really sure if the quote was suggesting that James isn't making that power all motor, but in case it is, you can rest assured that it is ALL MOTOR at this time. Good luck in your quest though as 9.90's would something cool to see without a fully gutted tin can! IMHO James' car shoulod run at least 10.30's-40's as it sits once he gets the bugs sorted.

    So being this will be the SECOND all Aluminum motor I take it the goal is to better the first !!!
